With Optimar, you have one point of contact who understands the entire installation. Optimar designs and integrates complete systems, which gives the service team in-depth knowledge of how machines, automation, and layouts work together as one efficient unit.
This reduces complexity when something needs attention. There is no need to coordinate between multiple suppliers.
– When we know the full system, we can troubleshoot faster and see connections others might miss. That gives our customers greater predictability in daily operation, says Dag Roar Arntsen, CO Aftersales & Customer Support at Optimar.
Available when it matters
Seafood production does not stop outside office hours. Neither does Optimar. Through service and aftermarket agreements, customers have access to support 24/7 – whether the issue involves mechanical components, automation, software adjustments, or spare parts.
When urgent situations occur, the team moves quickly to find the right people, identify the issue and restore production as fast as possible.
– Our job is simple: help customers get back up and running. Sometimes that means remote support. Sometimes it means waking up the right people in the middle of the night. We do what is needed to solve the situation, says Arntsen.
Just ask Loran
Optimar delivered the factory solution when the fishing vessel Loran was built in 1999. Since then, the partnership has grown through several retrofit projects – most recently four new plate freezers, installed while the vessel was docked right outside Optimar's headquarters on Valderøya.
– When we need help with something, it's just a short trip up to Optimar. That closeness means a lot to us, says captain and co-owner Per Morten Aarseth.
It's a relationship Marius Sorthe, Sales Manager Aftersales, Retrofit & Upgrades at Optimar, sees as proof of what service and aftermarket is really about.
– The trust Loran has shown us through all these years is perhaps the best proof of what Optimar aims to be: a partner who's there day and night, says Sorthe.
