Today, Optimar is one of the world’s leading suppliers of factory solutions, machines, and systems for the seafood industry. We develop solutions that make processing easier, smarter, and more sustainable – whether it’s for trawlers or aquaculture.
We work closely with our customers to ensure that every solution is right for their needs. Sometimes we deliver a single machine. Other times, we build an entire factory.
Setting the standard
Our very first complete factory delivery was to the processing trawler John Longva. Since then, Optimar has helped set the standard for the global seafood industry.
What once relied on manual labor and physical strength has been transformed. Optimar’s automated solutions have contributed to a more efficient and competitive industry – step by step and system by system. Not to mention smoother work days for the people working in the factory.
