OptiLice is our own unique product for removal of lice from salmon and trout without the use of chemicals or medications.

How it works:

OptiLice uses only tempered water and a combination of flushing both below and above the waterline to remove the parasitic lice Lepeophtheirus salmonis and Caligus elongatus.
The fish pass through the system and are bathed in tempered seawater or freshwater maintained at 28–34 °C for 20–30 seconds. Scientific tests have shown that 98% of all mobile pre-adult and adult lice are removed. The treatment with tempered water does not harm, nor have any negative effect on, the fish.
