Optimar’s Factory with a combined Stun- and Tailing Line is a complete, state-of-the-art processing system concept designed to give you full operational control from raw material reception to the final packed product. A central component of this factory solution is our dedicated Electrical stun- and tailing line, ensuring seamless integration, high-capacity precision, and optimal utilization of your raw material.

This complete factory solution brings together advanced optical grading, precise automated tailing, gentle handling, and, if needed, multi-stage freezing into a single, streamlined system.

How it works:
The entire factory is engineered for a smooth workflow and superior quality control. The process is divided into the following main stages:

  1. Grading and Infeed: The raw material is introduced via size storage bulk feeders before passing through advanced Optical Size Graders.
  2. The Tailing Line: The graded animals are automatically fed from our El-stunner into our specialized tailing machines. This automated secondary process is closely monitored by strict production control to ensure exact cuts. The tailing machines feature a dedicated route for waste separation, ensuring optimal utilization of the raw material and a highly efficient, clean workflow.
  3. Treatment and Cooling: After tailing, the product moves into the additive batching phase. Using an automatic additive preparation system, the animals pass through vacuum soaking tanks or conveyor soaking tanks. This is followed by an efficient cooling process..
  4. Advanced Freezing and Glazing: From the freezing line infeed, the products seamlessly enter the Spiral IQF freezer. To maximize product protection and shelf life, the product undergoes a first stage of deep glazing, followed by a second freezer (two passes) and a second stage of deep glazing.
  5. Packing and Palletizing: Finally, the finished products are directed to flexible packing stations, where they are accurately packed into either plastic bags or cartons. The line concludes with an automatic palletizer featuring a wrapping system, making the pallets fully ready for dispatch.
